Architectural Experience

My Architectural Experience

“Chicago” is the third most populated city in the United States of America after New York City and Los Angeles. Chicago is also known for its skyscraper and for architecture of city. The Willis Tower also known by Sears Tower before 2009 is one of the attractions of Chicago. The Willis Tower was one of the tallest skyscrapers in Chicago and second in the United State. I am going to share my experience of going on to the skydeck of its 104th store.

It was a year ago, My friend and I went to the Willis Tower to experience its skydeck. We are so excited to feel and explore the height and the glass skydeck on 104th level. We went inside and first they played the video about its history and how they planned to build. Design of the building came out of 9 cigarettes on hand putting it in different height, which we can see on the building construction now. After that we were guided toward the elevator and proceed to 104th floor.  It’s surprisingly wonderful view of the Chicago city and suburbs from there. We can see the view to the infinitive point or I can say as far as our eyes can figure it out. Toward the west side of the building there are four glass boxes coming out from the wall about a 4 feet each. From there we can look all four sides and which is very sensational to our body and mind. It’s very hard to see directly under our feet to see the level of our body from to floor. It is some 412 meter (1353 feet) above the ground and I felt like it’s going to crash, sink or fall all the way to the floor.

Construction of Willis Tower was started at 1970 and finshed at 1973. It was a world’s tallest building from 1973 to 1998.

Thank You,

    1. Oh, really........... Thank you for complement, but I don't know from what angle and how. It also depends on the eyes which is looking at them, so it must be true.
However, I would like to connect or match with any art work that we can see. You know, The art we looked at is excellent, good, okay, bad and worst and which depends on the eyes which is observing them.

So, I am taking that complement.....
      ha ha ha ha .....

      Thanks
