Website of Art Institute of Chicago is really helpful to everyone to find whatever they need. When you went to the website it shows you Seven boxes of option that you can select and go deep inside to the gallery and visit every corner of the gallery. These seven boxes are Visit, Collections, Exhibitions, Learn, Research, Join and Give, and shop.

Normally, whenever I visit this website I check current / upcoming / past exhibition under Exhibitions. This is the first time I checked out Collections section and I am very surprised to see their archive of all the paintings, sculptures, installations, Decorative Arts, Print and Drawing, Photographs, and Textiles. Even they have archive of all these things from different continents of the world.

Every single time I visited Art Institute, the first place I like to go and look at the paintings is the section of Impressionism and Post-Impressionism section. One of the section inside this is room with the paintings of Van Gogh, because I never get tired of his paintings. Furthermore, other impressionists works like Monet, Manet, Pissaro, Degas, Gauguin, Renoir, Cezanne, Seurat and many more. I really enjoy all the collection of Monet's Hey Stack (Stack of Wheat), Water Lily Pond. These series of paintings was done in different season with same subject, where he was observing effects and role of light and color. You must stop and take a close look on these series of paintings.

Another best or exciting section for me is Modern Wings where we can see all modern and contemporary arts. Hear we make a connection with most amazing works done by world famous abstract artists like, Jackson Pollock, Mark Rothko, Frank Stella, Arshile Gorky, Jasper John, Robert Rauschenberg, Lucian Freud, B. Newman and many many more.
